Wau Shilluk Wau Shilluk is a town located in Upper Nile State in South Sudan, with a population of roughly 50,000 individuals. Since the beginning of the South Sudanese civil war, several internally displaced persons have moved into the community, often facing issues with access to safe drinking water and appropriate restroom facilities. In 2014, Wau Shilluk and other areas in Upper Nile faced a cholera outbreak, and in 2015 several school children were kidnapped by forces loyal to Johnson Olony with the intention of their being forced to serve in the armed forces. ==External Links== 1.)
